Guide to register Remitano account & authenticate to buy and sell - trade Bitcoin

Hello! In this article, Ngoc will show you how to register for a Remitano account  and verify your account with your personal information so you can start buying / selling Bitcoin at this exchange.

What is Remitano?

When you want to buy or sell cryptocurrencies, you need to join an exchange, and Remitano is the largest exchange in Vietnam today. Here you can register for an account, then you can use VND to buy the corresponding amount of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ripple, USDT from the sellers.

Or you can sell your digital currencies at Remitano for VND. All transactions on Remitano take place automatically and via bank transfer via Vietcombank and some other banks.

Instructions for registering a Remitano account

Signing up for an account at Remitano is relatively simple BUT as this is a cryptocurrency exchange so in order to proceed with the purchase and sale bar you need to authenticate your account to be eligible for the transaction.

Right below Ngoc will guide you step by step to do it offline!

Step 1: Prepare registration and authentication documents

In order to successfully register and authenticate your account at Remitano you need to prepare:

• Your personal email address (most frequently used)
• Photograph of identity card (preferably 2 sides) – This is called the main identification document
• Photograph (driver’s license or passport) – This is called a secondary identification document
• Vietcombank account (with internet banking function – not a visa card) to transfer money when buying Bitcoin or receiving money when selling Bitcoin

Step 2: Register for a Remitano account

First, click here to go to the home page of Remitano and select “Login / Register”

Next enter your email address and click “Continue”. You can also choose to log in with your Google or Facebook account (however Ngoc recommends using your email address).

Immediately afterwards Remitano will notify you with an email with a registration link for you as below!

Now open your mail, will see the email as below.

Open the email then click the “Login me to Remitano” button

You will be immediately redirected to the page asking to enter your alias, enter your name or nickmane (adjacent letters without accents).

Click “Continue”

Ok so you have successfully registered a Remitano account already!

But soon you need to conduct authentication and turn on the Authy security function!

Step 3: How to turn on security & authentication of Remitano account

Now in the login page of your Remitano account click on the username and then select  “Install”

Then in the section “Authy Security” you click “Activate”

Soon you will be provided with a QR code and an authentication key as shown below.

• For QR codes, you need to use your phone and download the Google Authenticator app (download on AppStore or Google Play)
• Once you’ve downloaded and installed the Google Authenticator app, you need to use the QR code scanning function to scan the code above. From now on every Google Authenticator app transaction will generate you a 6-digit string for authentication (every 6 seconds, this number will change 1 time)
• Once you have scanned the QR code using the Google Authenticator application, you will have an authentication code to enter in the “Authy authentication code” box (pictured above)
• For the authentication key,  you can record and store it somewhere in case you lose your phone later or accidentally delete an app, you can use it to recover it. (Remember to keep this key information confidential, don’t let anyone know you)

Finally, press the “Authy Security” button.

Authy Security Notice has been “ON” as shown below!

Now you continue to select the “Profile” to proceed with information authentication.

1. In the “Name” field,  you need to enter your full name according to your identity card!

2. Verify phone number

Scroll down, select “Add phone number”

A popup appears, select Vietnam, then enter your phone number (remember to remove the first 0)

Click “Continue”

Immediately you will receive a message, which contains 4 authentication numbers. Enter these 4 numbers and click “Verify”

Shortly thereafter the status of verifying your phone number will turn green “Verified” as shown below.

3. Verify account status (personal identity verification on remitano)

As mentioned at the beginning of the article because the transaction at Remitano is transfer and in VND to buy, sell Bitcoin, Etherum, Bitcoin Cash … so the system requires strict verification of personal information. Photos must be clear, not overly edited …. This is beneficial for you because if something goes wrong during the transaction, you will be better supported by Remitano staff.

To start verifying your identity on remitano you need to prepare 4 photos as follows: (Note the photos below Ngoc has blurred personal information, when you use the confirmation photo, you need to take clear pictures)

• Figure 1: Photograph of identity card or double-sided pasport (This is the main identification document)

• Figure 2: Hold your ID card in your hand and “take a selfie” of a photo as below (it looks a bit weird, but the procedure for confirmation   )

• Figure 3: Prepare a paper that says “Buy virtual money on Remitano.com” , then put your ID card on top and take a picture like below

• Figure 4: Photograph of driver’s license or passport, marriage certificate … (This is a secondary identification document)

Now to start verifying that you are still in the profile section, select the “Upload documents”

Soon you will see that your verification status is now: UNIFIED

Scroll down below to start sending the verification images you have prepared. Note that you should send images from 1 to 4 in turn!

The first is a photo of identity card or passport. Click the upload button to select an image saved on your computer.

Then you enter the ID number, name (if it is a passport or driving license, enter the corresponding number)

Every time you send a remitano, you will be informed which step you are on below.

Next is the selfie picture holding ID.

Next is the 3rd image, photo of identity card with the words written on the paper “Buy virtual money on remitano.com”

Finally, the image of secondary identification documents, possibly passport, driver’s license, utility bill with your name …

You will then need that you need to wait for Remitano to process for a few minutes.

Then if you get the message below, your account has been successfully authenticated. If they are wrong, they will show you additional notices.

Authentic attitudes will turn green like that.

Guide to buy Bitcoin on Remitano

*** Note: I use Bitcoin as an example – with other cryptocurrencies being supported by remitano like Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Etherum or USDT, you just do the same.

To buy or sell Bitcoin you just need to return to the buy / sell menu and select the corresponding item. Most of Remitano’s transactions are via Vietcombank online bank transfer .

After clicking the buy button you will be redirected to the purchase page.

Here on the Buy Now tab:

• Enter the number of Bitcon in the box, the exchange rate will be automatically converted to USD immediately below
• Paste your Bitcoin wallet address in the box next to it
• Then choose the seller, you should choose the first one (with a fast sell icon and the lowest VND price, so choose to trade via Vietcombank)

The next interface will notify you that you have 15 minutes to make a transfer to the seller (after 15 minutes if not automatically transfer the purchase order will be canceled)

Scroll down below and you will see the following transfer information:

Note:

• When making a transfer, you need to enter the correct account number
• Transfer the right amount (not redundant, not missing a penny)
• Content remittance also need to copy exactly  what Remitano provides you

Successful transfer order of Vietconbank as below.

After you successfully transfer the money, it takes  less than 1 minute for the transaction to automatically mark the completion as shown below  and you will receive the Bitcoin purchased on your Bitcoin wallet, everything is completely automatic.

Many first-time Bitcoin buyers often worry that after depositing, the seller will not send you BTC. In this regard, you are assured because Remitano is an intermediary, all trading processes have been confirmed by Remitano and the process is as follows:

• When you make a buy order, all of the seller’s Bitcoin will be held by Remitano
• After Remitano receives the money you transfer to Vietcombank, the Remitano system will take the corresponding Bitcoin number to send to you,
• Remitano will then send the amount of VND to the seller, thus completing the transaction.
